Michael Louis DeKeuninck, 73, of Davenport, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Per his request, cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services with military honors are pending at the Rock Island National Cemetery, after which a celebration of life will be at the Berean Baptist Church in Davenport. Mike was born November 20, 1948 in Moline, Il. He was the son of Cyriel and Patricia (McLean) DeKeuninck. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married Connie Anne Stouffer on August 6, 1977 in Davenport. He had worked for 26 years as a janitor for the former Industrial Engineering Company. He was an avid Cardinals fan and loved going to the casino and ballgames.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Connie, daughter, Robin DeKeuninck, Moulton, IA, grandchildren: Madalynn and Kole, brother, Joe, Phoenix, AZ; sister, Lori Pobanz, Rock Island and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a brother, Julian and his beloved dog, Precious.
