Last rites for Mrs. Hugo (Lena) Mangels, 54, Durant, were held Sept. 8 in Durant with burial in the Durant cemetery. Mrs. Mangels died at a Davenport nursing home Sept. 5.

The former Lena Heyden was born in Scott county. She was married to Mr. Mangels in 1930 in Davenport. He died in 1956.

Mrs. Mangels is survived by a son, Elmer H., New Liberty; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne R. (Elva) Johnson, Davenport; 6 grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Edward, Durant, and Henry, Wilton Junction.
