Eric T. Bond, 57, of Davenport, Iowa, (formerly of Kewanee, IL) departed this earthly life and went home to be with the lord on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport, Iowa.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Eric’s memory.

Eric Trent Bond was born September 6, 1964, in Kewanee, Illinois, the son of Rev. Dan W. and Alma T. (White) Bond. He graduated from Weathersfield High School. He married Carlotta Mack on June 26, 2021, in Charleston, Missouri. He attended Black Hawk College in Kewanee, worked in Food Management up until his retirement in 2017. He was a member of Greater Antioch Baptist Church where he served as the Minister of Music for over 17 years. He was without a doubt one of the best pianists to grace the Quad Cities, and beyond. Eric was a member of the musically- gifted family that formed The Bond Family Singers. The group traveled and performed together in various churches around the country.

Eric is survived by his wife, Carlotta; three children, Jennifer, Andre, and Adrian(Amanda) Bond, all of Davenport; Bonus children, Terry, D’Micah, and Terrez Jones all from Elkhart, Indiana; Zatavion Heard, of Davenport; grandchildren: Neveah, Arianna, Xavier, AJ, Payzlei, and Isaiah all of Davenport; his stepmother, Margaretta Bond of Kewanee; brothers, Darryl (Rosalind) Bond, Travis (LaNita) Bond all of Davenport, IA, Brian ( Charlotte) Bond of Glen Carbon, IL and Willie Stevenson of Kewanee; sister in-law Debbie Bond, of Kewanee; sisters Paula (Tyrone) Baker and Shannon Engstrom both of Kewanee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; Rev Dan W. Bond and Alma T. (White) Bond; brothers Kenneth, Danny, and Thomas Bond; both maternal and paternal grandparents.
