Daniel Fritz Greenlee, 71, of Davenport, passed away quickly on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, after a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer. Per his wishes, cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life for friends and family to be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Daniel was born February 16, 1950, to Scott and Rosel Greenlee (Schiel Templemeyer) in Wiesbaden, Germany. He was an accomplished wrestler and football player at West High School. Daniel retired from Case IH in 2004 where he spent a majority of his time enjoying fishing and hunting with his friends Pat Vaughn and Ronnie Escamilla. He was also a World Class Duck Caller and Picks Champion.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Patrick (Sarah) Greenlee of Boston, MA, and Timothy (Marja) Greenlee of Davenport; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Rebecca, Marian Gabriel, Nicklas (who is actively serving in the US Army), Imogen, and Maxell; a great grandson, Kai; and his sisters, Rosel (Susie) Clark (Daniel) of Mountain Home, AK and Valerie (William) Greenlee of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his parents.
