Evangeline B. Teeple, 85, of Davenport, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her home in Davenport. Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Nichols Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Evangeline. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Evangeline B. Roger was born on January 24, 1937, in Kentucky the daughter of Lester and Ola (Stedum) Rogers. On March 14, 1962, Evangeline was united in marriage to James Dickess in Liberty, Indiana. James passed on June 2, 1986. Later she married Frank Teeple. Evangeline worked for the government in Ohio. After moving to Iowa, she worked at NCS in Iowa City and later Thomas and Betts in Iowa City. She was an avid reader.

Evangeline will be deeply missed by her children, James Dickess, II of Davenport and Melissa Ann Collins of Tiffin; step-children, Deborah AusenKamp of Kansas City, Kansas and Karen Sue Rooks of Hillsboro, Ohio; seven grandchildren and many great grandchilden.

Evangeline was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; step-daughter, Joyce Dorow; three brothers, Larry, Jimmy and Billy and two sisters, Helen and Jane.
