Page 8Gustav Rauch, Former RIA Employe [sic], Dies
Gustav Rauch, 85, of 2623 Jefferson Ave., Davenport, who resided most of his life in Scott County, died Sunday in St. Luke's Hospital after a two-day illness.
Until he retired in 1946, Rauch was in the small arms department, Rock Island Arsenal.
Born in Moline, he married the former Alma Priester in 1904. She preceded him in death in 1963.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vera A. Winter, Rock Island, and Mrs. Phillip Stout, Boulder, Colo.; two sons, Marvin and Allen, both of Davenport; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A daughter, Irma, and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hill & Fredericks Chapel.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
