Page 3Mrs. Alma Rauch Dies at Age 77
Mrs. Gustav (Alma) Rauch, 80, of 2623 Jefferson Ave., Davenport, a life resident of Scott County, died in Mercy Hospital Sunday following an extended illness.
Born in Eldridge, the former Alma Priester was married to Mr. Rauch in 1904 in that town.
In 1954, the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Vera A. Winter, of Rock Island, and Mrs. Phillip (Cora) Stout, of Boulder, Colo.; two sons, in Marvin and Allen, both of Davenport; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Irma, six sisters, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Hill & Fredericks Chapel with the Rev. Henry Muller of the Bettendorf Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. today.
