Last rites for Mrs. Fred Woods, 77, New Liberty, were held July 6 at the Chapman Funeral home, Wheatland, with burial in Pioneer cemetery at Wheatland.

Mrs. Woods died July 3 at the Clarence Nursing home following a long illness.

Amanda Holst was born Nov. 18, 1890, in Scott county. She married Fred Woods June 17, 1913, in Clinton. He preceded her in death in 1954.

Mrs. Woods is survived by a son, Roscoe, New Liberty; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Miller, Cedar Rapids; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
