Jaclyn "Jaci" A. Brase

February 4, 1947-July 15, 2021

DONAHUE-Jaclyn "Jaci" A. Brase, 74, of Donahue, IA, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday July 20, also at the Weerts Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the Cancer Center at Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport. Jaci was born February 4, 1947, to Cecil and Violet Knight in Rock Island, IL. She graduated from Rock Island High School. Jaci was united in marriage to Mark Brase on October 25, 2001. She enjoyed having plants and taking care of them, cooking, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jaci's grandkids were number one to her. One of her other hobbies was also collecting elephants. Jaci will be remembered as a giver.

Jaci is survived by her husband of 20 years, Mark; children: Russell (Jennifer) Hoeper; step-children: Jennifer Woodruff and Jeff Brase; grandchildren: Ellie and Gabby Hoeper, Nicole and Nathaniel Wolf, Arianna and Easton Woodruff; great grandchildren: Jecelyn Wolf and Willie Otts; and her sister, B. Jerilyn Knight. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Violet Knight; and her daughter, Jocelyn Wolf.
