Larry H. DeVilder, 85, of Davenport, IA passed away on July 23, 2021 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. A service will be held at the Davenport Memorial Park Mausoleum on Friday July 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow. Memorials may be left to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Larry was born on November 23, 1935 in Iowa, IA City to Frank and Margaret (Landuyt) DeVilder. He was united in marriage to Judy (Nelson) on September 17, 1988 in Davenport, IA. Larry worked as a Security Supervisor at Northpark Mall until 1991. He then became an antique dealer and an RV Park host at Shady Creek Park for the Corps of Engineers. Larry and Judy had a wonderful life together. They did everything together, from traveling to having mud fights in the rain. To say Larry loved animals would be an understatement. He loved taking long drives to look for eagles, fishing and caring for his own pets. He was also a Dale Earnhardt fan. Larry was a kid at heart. A life he truly enjoyed with Judy.

Survivors include his loving wife, Judy; children, Cheryl (Steve) LeMaster, Doak (Janet) McDaniel, Michael McDaniel; grandchildren, George (Tara), Madison and Daisha; sister, Betty Osland; many nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Edna, Barbara, and brother, Lyle.
