Kathleen M. Arp, 73, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at her home.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kathleen was born February 19, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard H. & Mary K. (Bradley) Kloppenborg. She married Alan Thede Sr. on September 4th 1971. They later divorced and she was united in marriage to Melvin K. Arp on September 17, 1994. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2017.

She enjoyed crafting and her collectibles.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Annette (Jason) Boos and Kimberly (Mark) Cutkomp; her son, Alan (Theresa) Thede Jr.; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Nadine, Airik and Dylan; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Sandra Kloppenborg of Bettendorf; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Melvin, Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Mason.
