Ray D. Heston passed away July 8th 2021 at his home after suffering from a long illness. He was born in Davenport but grew up in LeClair Iowa. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the DOJ. Preceded in death by his parents Francis “Hess" Heston and Verna Krause. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Margaret Heston, daughter Christy Hailey, granddaughter Emily Hailey of Texas, brother Frank Heston Sr of Davenport, sister Teresa Colasuonno of Georgia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services July 23rd 10am Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery.
