Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Michael A. Graw, 69, of Davenport, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. His family will greet friends at church from 9:00a.m until service time. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted his family. Mike passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Campus. Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, Iowa City and Scott County Humane Society. Michael Allen Graw was born September 4, 1951, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Eugene G. and Eileen (Anderson) Graw. He was united in marriage to Christine Preston, February 15, 1975. Mike proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy, Seabees, stationed at Midway Island and then in the U.S. Army Reserves. He had worked for the former Red Jacket Pump and then in security for the Isle of Capri. He enjoyed a cold craft beer, house projects, collecting memorabilia, shopping at Menards, attending his grandkids sporting events, and making friends wherever he went. He was known for his quick wit, easy going nature, and being a great second father figure to so many of his children’s friends. Survivors include his wife Chris and their children; Ben (Lana) Graw, Davenport and Sarah (Brad) Baker, Marion, Iowa; his grandchildren, Calen, Reese and his grand fur babies, Addy and Chopper; his siblings, Patrick (Nancy) Graw, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jeffrey Graw, San Diego, California, and Kathleen (Brent) Robinson, Eau Claire, Wisconsin as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
