Funeral services for Rodger Williams Atkins, 47, of 528 Brady St., Davenport, were held in Davenport, Oct. 10 with burial in the Memorial park cemetery, Davenport.

Mr. Atkins died Oct. 7 in his apartment. He was born April 15, 1917 at Tipton, the son of Ray M. and Madge Henderson Atkins. He retired from the navy in 1959 after serving for over 20 years. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Atkins, 135 Locust St., Davenport, one brother, Ray O. Atkins, Davenport and one sister, Elaine Atkins, Chicago, Ill., two nieces and one nephew.
