Funeral services for Mrs. Adele Stutzer, 77, Davenport, were held in Durant, Aug. 12. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Mrs. Stutzer died Aug. 9, in St. Luke's hospital at Davenport after a brief illness.

The former Adele Wiebener was born April 11, 1887 in Durant, the daughter of John and Anna Wiebener. She was united in marriage to Henry F. Stutzer on August 26, 1908 in Davenport. The couple made their home in Durant.

Mr. Stutzer preceded his wife in death in 1944, and Mrs. Stutzer moved to Davenport in 1950. She was a Past Chief of Durant Pythian Sisters, and a member of Mt. Ida Presbyterian Church in Davenport.

Surviving are a son, John of Davenport, and a grandson.
