Funeral services were held June 10 in Davenport for Mrs. Hans Waack, 83, who died in Mercy Hospital, Davenport, June 6. She had made her home with a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Maxen, Davenport. Burial was in the Walcott cemetery.

A native of Germany, Helene M. Larson married Mr. Waack there in 1903. They came to Scott county in 1913, moving to Davenport 2 years ago.

Surviving are her husband; another daughter, Mrs. William Eickhoff, Princeton; 3 sons, John and Heinrich, both of Stockton and Henry of Florida; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Henry Kuhlman, Davenport; and a brother, Jurgen Larson, Chicago.
