Miss Carrie Reichenbacker, 99, who had been making her home with a nephew, Herman J. Lemm of 2016 Rockingham Rd., Davenport, died at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday in a local hospital. She had been ill for two and one-half weeks.
She was born Jan. 31, 1857, in New York City. She attended schools in Belvedere, Ill., and Blue Grass. Miss Reichenbacher had been a resident of Scott County for 85 years. She was of Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
