Mrs Dora M. Lemm died at her home, 2016 Rockingham road at 10:35 p.m. Monday following a year's illness. She had resided in Davenport for 49 years.
She was born in Blue Grass Aug. 8, 1871, and married Herman Lemm Jan. 4, 1892 [sic 1893], in Davenport. The couple had resided here since that time. Mrs Lemm was a member of the Pythian Sisters.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Hugo, of Davenport; one daughter, Mrs William G. Decker of Moline, two brothers, John Gruenwald of Davenport, and Otto Gruenwald of Bettendorf; one sister, Mrs L. H. Orth of Toronto, Ia.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body was taken to the Runge mortuary were funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.
