THE MENNIG FUNERAL.
After a beautiful tribute paid by fellow lodgemen and friends, the remains of Charles Mennig were buried in the City cemetery Sunday afternoon. The funeral services were held at the Undertaking rooms of Moore & Robb, under the auspices of Tecomesh tribe No. 32, Independent Order of Red Men. The ritual of the order was followed both there and at the grave, whither the remains were followed by a long line of carriages containing the relatives and friends whom the untimely end of the young man leaves in sorrow. The pallbearers were Levi Heald, Charles L. Rathburn, Henry Reimer, Alfred Reimer, George Lais and Thdo. Wilckens.
