JOHNSON.
The funeral of Thomas Scott Johnson, whose death occurred at an early hour Sunday morning, occurred at 3 Monday from the residence 617 East Fourteenth street. Rev. Reberd of Milan and Dr. Donaldson of this city officiated, and the pallbearers were LeRoy Campbell, James McManus, C.H. VanZant, H.J. McFarland, Paul McSteen and N.L. Butterworth. The interment was was at Oakdale.
Thomas Scott Johnston was the son of Thomas and Martha Scott Johnston, and was born March 19, 1873 being at the time of his death 26 years of age. He had lived in Davenport for the past 12 years, graduating from No. 5 school, and six years up to July last had been in the employ of the Edwards & Walsh Construction company. His illness dated from that time and since Nov. 1 of last year had confined him to his bed.
