SAM S. STOCKMAN

Funeral services and burial will be held in Washington for Sam S. Stockman, 54, a native of Washington county and a former Davenport resident, who died Thursday in the Veterans hospital, Knoxville, following a long illness. He lived in Davenport nine years prior to his admittance to the hospital five-and-a-half years ago. Word of his death was received by his brother Louis Stockman, 323 Oak street, Davenport.

Born November 25, 1889, in Washington, he was the son of the late William F. and Anna Stockman. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of serval veterans' clubs. He was not married.

Surviving are eight brothers and three sisters.
