LOUIS STOCKMAN

Louis W. Stockman, 70 of 322 Oak St., Davenport, died Sunday (March 30, 1986) at his home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island.

Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity, or Senior Citizens Program at Grace United Methodist Church, Davenport.

He retired in 1970 as a firefighter for Davenport Fire Department, where he had been employed 22 years.

Mr. Stockman married Margaret Mauree Waggoner in 1936 in Fairfield, Iowa.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Mrs. Stockman was a member of the fire department union.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (DeAnn) Conners, Hopewell, Va.; sons, Louis and Dennis, both of Davenport; Donald, San Diego; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchid; a sister, Mrs. Gene (Dora) Martin, Washington, Iowa; and brothers, Virgil, Davenport, and Ivan, Downey, California.
