Mr Frederick Hoffbauer one of the best known citizens of Buffalo township, in this county, arose well and hearty this morning, and at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, while in the village, dropped dead. His disease was apoplexy. He was a native of Germany and settled in Buffalo in 1853 as a farmer. Since 1864, he and his son Hugo have run the well known "Hoffbauer's brewery". His age was 64 years. He leaves a wife, 4 sons and 4 daughters, all the children married.
