Mrs. Mathilda Plumb, 80, died at 7:45 p.. Tuesday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wehmeyer, 532 West Eight Street.
Mrs. Plumb, daughter of the late Theodore and Mathilda Andrews, was born Aug. 31, 1870 in Fehmann, Germany, and came to this country at the age of 13. She was married to Stephen P. Plumb in Davenport, Aug. 31, 1889.
Surviving are a son, Leo A., Wapello; a daughter, Mrs. Wehmeyer, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Ben Andrews, Moline, and Theodore Andrews, Harrisonville, Mo. In addition to her husband, 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 4 sisters preceded her in death.
The body was removed to the Runge mortuary.
Funeral services for Mrs. Plumb will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Runge chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
