Funeral services for DeWayne LaMaack, 39, Blue Grass, were held Aug. 10, 1989 at the Lacock Funeral Home in Durant, with the Rev. Gary Ruckman officiating. Pallbearers were Roger Deerberg, Robert Wilkins Jr., Raymond Cole, Neal Simmons, Pat Foster and Ronnie Bonstadt. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. LaMaack died Aug. 7 at Mercy hospital in Davenport.

The son of Donald and Ida Ireland LaMaack, he was born March 4, 1950 in Davenport.

He was a self-employed trucker and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local No. 371. He enjoyed working on cars and deer hunting.

Mr. LaMaack is survived by a son, David and a daughter, Mindy, both of Council Bluffs; his father, Donald LaMaack, Des Moines; 4 brothers, Dennis, Grapeview, Wash.; Gary, Davenport; and Garrett and Brent, both of DeWitt; 5 sisters, Mrs. Neal (Phyllis) Simmons, Bettendorf; Mrs. Roger (Diane) Deerberg, Lowden; Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Wilkins, Jr., Bennett; Mrs. Raymond (Caryl) Cole, Durant and Wendy LaMaack, Bettendorf. He was preceded in death by his mother.
