Herman A. Buergel, 63 years old, died at 6:25 o'clock Friday evening at the home, 1440 West Fourth street, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Buergel has been in Davenport for a number of years and was well known in the western part of the city.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. H. A. Buergel, and seven children. The latter are Amy, Clara, Will, Ella, Laura, Emma and Richard Buergel, all of Davenport.
