OBITUARY.
Dittmann.
At 10:30 o'clock this morning at the home of his son, William Ditmann, 1930 Brady street, occurred the death of Charles A. Dittmann at the age of 64 years, death being due to paralysis of the heart. The deceased came to Davenport with his father in 1853, the former being a brewer by occupation and had the distinction of brewing the first beer in Davenport. The survivors are the following children: William G., Frank E. and Harry A. Another son, Charles E. Dittmann died some years ago. In addition to the above, the following brothers and sisters survive: Frank W., Ernest C., Fred, Mrs. Charles Fiestkohn, Mrs. Ed Jennies and Mrs. Dr. J.M. Browders.
The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon from the home of the son, 1930 Brady street, with interment at Pine Hill.
