Swayzee.

The news of the death of Mrs. Swayzee, mother of Mrs. T.N. Morrison, in Chicago, was received at the Morrison home Tuesday morning. Mrs. Swayzee was 79 years of age, and the widow of Rev. Arthur Swayzee, formerly pastor of the Third Presbyterian church of Chicago, and the editor of the Chicago Times. She is survived by four daughters, namely: Mrs. Morrison and Miss Swayzee of this city, Mrs. W.B. Jones of Brookeline, Mass., and Mrs. N.W. Atwood of Chicago. The relatives from this city will leave for Chicago today to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Swayzee visited with the family of Bishop Morrison every summer since the removal to this city, and had a large number of friends here. At her advanced age she was a bright and intelligent woman, and well liked by the large circle of her acquaintances. Her death will also cause many expressions of regret in Chicago. The funeral will probably be held from the home of the deceased today or tomorrow, in Chicago.
