Payne.

Miss Della Payne, 55, of 1307 LeClaire street died at Mercy hospital at 6:35 o'clock this morning following an illness of the past week and a period of failing health covering the last two months.

Born in Davenport in 1874, Miss Payne had lived here practically all her life. She was the last of her immediate family to survive, but is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Halligan Funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to the Cathedral at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be made in St. Marquerite's cemetery.
