The Sterling Funeral.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Sterling was held today from the Halligan funeral home with services at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart cathedral. The Rev. J.J. Collins celebrated a requiem high mass, pronounced the burial absolution, and preached the funeral sermon. The Rev. O.J. Small of Grand Mount, officiated at the committal services in St. Phillip and James cemetery at Grand Mound.

At the offertory of the mass, Mrs. E.J. O'Donnell sang an "Ave Maria."

Pallbearers were Dan T. Naven, Michael Foley, Thomas Welch, Leo Ritter, Thomas Lynch and John Gibson.
