Obituary.

Walnwaring.

Mrs. Stella Walnwaring, age 50, died at 22:45 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Lampson, 717 West Second street. She had been ill for the last two months.

Stella Holmes was born in Perry, Ia., Dec 3, 1876 and came to Davenport 15 years ago residing here since.

Surviving are two daughters the one living here and Mrs. Joe Konocy of Los Angeles, Calif., three sons, Chester A., of Davenport; Earl of St. Joe, Mo., and Hoe of Des Moines; her father William Holmes of Los Angeles; four sisters, Mrs. D.C. Scofield of Chicago, Mrs. Marvin Pewell of Mason City, Ia., Mrs. Ida Cain of Sioux Rapids, Ia., and Mrs. Alice McChristy of Lewis, Kan., three brothers William of Jamestown, N. Dak.; Louis of Seattle, Wash.; and Ray of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.

The remains were removed to the Runge mortuary from where funeral arrangement will be announced later.
