Mrs. Mary Brandt, Former Resident of Scott, is Dead.

Lake Park, Ia., May 15--Mrs. Mary Brandt, Lake Park, who was formerly a resident of Scott county, died suddenly at her home. She was born in Flensburg, Germany, Dec 31 1850, and was married to Ferdinand Brandt in Germany. They came to New Liberty, Ia., in 1890, later in 1901 moving to Lake Park, Ia.,

Surviving are the widower and the following children: Mrs. Mary Jacobsen, New Liberty; Mrs. Maggie Rahlf, Durant; Mrs. Lillian Hayden, Charles City; Mrs. Anna Rowley, Des Moines; Ferd Brandt, Hayward, Minn; Claus Brandt, Alta, Mont.; and Edward Brandt, Minneapolis, Minn. Nineteen grandchildren and one great grand child also survive.
