Obituary

The Badger Funeral.

The funeral of John W. Badger was held at 8:30 a.m. today from the Stapleton chapel with services at 9 o'clock in St. Anthony's church. The Rev. J.J. Quinlan celebrated a requiem high mass and officiated at the committal services in St. Marguerite's cemetery. The Rev. J.W. Bulger pronounced the burial absolution and preached the funeral sermon.

At the offertory of the mass Louis Koenigsaccker sang an "Ave Maria," and at the recessional Mrs. George Sterndorf sang "Our Father." A quartet composed of Mrs. E.J. O'Donnell, Mrs. George Sternsdorf, Louis Koenigsaccker and B. J. McGrath, sang "Veni Jesu" at the conclusion of the services.

The pallbearers were Louis Koenigsaccker, J.J. Marinan, D. Naven, Peter Prosperi. Tom Slattery and V.F. Hesse.
