Hartung

Mrs. Harriet E. Hartung passed away at her home, 214 West Eighth street, Wednesday morning at 3:30 after a short illness.

She was born in Clinton, Iowa, March 2, 1887, and resided in Davenport since 1906. She was united in marriage to Carl Hartung on March 9, 1906, and he, with one daughter, Zelma, survives her together with her mother, Mrs. Davis and two brothers, Bert and Joe Davis.

Services will be held Friday morning at 8 o’clock from the home, 214 West Eighth street, followed by services at St. Anthony’s church, and interment will be made in St. Marguerite’s cemetery.

The Hartung Funeral

The funeral of Mrs. Harriet E. Hartung was held from the home, 214 West Eighth street, at 9 o’clock Friday morning to St. Anthony’s church, Rev. J.W. Bulger conducted the services at the church and at the grave in St. Marguerite’s cemetery.

Pallbearer were James Cahill, John Kinney, Henry Perrin, E. Stromberg, Emil Luchmann, and Joe Burke.
