FRANK HYLAND, FORMERLY OF THIS CITY, DEAD

Death Occurred Early This Morning at Home in Fort Dodge, Ia.

Frank Hyland, a former resident of Davenport, died early this morning at his home in Fort Dodge, Ia., according to word received here today by his sister, Mrs. J.J. Costello, 1617 Esplanade avenue.

Mr. Hyland was born in Ireland about 65 years ago and had been a resident of Davenport for a number of years. He had resided in Fort Dodge the past several years. Two sisters besides Mrs. Costello; Mrs. J.J. Craig of New York and the other living in Ireland. Two brothers also survive in Ireland.

The body will be brought to Davenport and will be taken to the Halligan funeral home. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The Hyland Funeral

The body of Frank Hyland, former Davenport resident who died in Fort Dodge, Ia., arrived here today at 4:30 p.m. and was removed to the Halligan funeral home from where the funeral will be held at 8:30 Friday to Sacred Heart Cathedral at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Marguerite's cemetery.

The Hyland Funeral
The funeral of Frank Hyland was held today from the Halligan funeral home to Sacred Heart cathedral at 9 a.m., The Rev. P.D. Moore celebrating a requiem high mass and pronounced the burial absolution. The Rev. Richard Egan officiated at the services at the grave in St. Marguerite's cemetery.

The pallbearers were Edward Naven, Leo Lewis, William Bloom, J. J. Kinnavey, Val Hesse, and Francis Pillion.
