Thomas F. Gannon, a resident of Davenport his entire life, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday, in a local hospital. Altho he had been in poor health for the last two months, he had been confined for only two weeks.

Born in Davenport, March 15, 1870, Mr. Gannon received his education in the schools here. He was married to Miss Julia Miclot, June 19, 1895, the ceremony being performed by the late Rev. D.J. Flannery of St. Anthony's church. His wife preceded him in death 20 years. For many years he was employed as a machinist at the Rock Island arsenal.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. B.F. Clarke of Davenport and Mrs. Earl Hoffman of Detroit; one son, Thomas E. Gannon of Davenport; one brother, Joseph C. Gannon of Moline; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Tunney of Moline and Mrs. W.J. Redmond of Davenport and two grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Halligan funeral home and will be taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Redmond, 407 West Eighth street, late this morning.

The funeral will be held from there at 8:30 a.m. Monday with services at 9 o'clock at St. Anthony's church. Interment will be in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
