Mrs. Anna McDonnell, 1327 Elm street, died at 6 o'clock Wednesday evening at her home. Altho ailing for some time she was only seriously ill a week. She was 90 years of age.

Mrs. McDonnell was born in Ireland on Aug. 1, 1848. She had been a resident of Davenport for the last 10 years. Her husband, John B. McDonnell, preceded her in death two years ago.

Surviving are seven sons, John of Davenport; Thomas of Sterling, Ill.; Bernard of Rock Falls, Ill; Edward of Ethan, S.D.; Martin of Sterling, Henry of Cedar Rapids and Charles of Davenport; one daughter, Mrs. C.J. Faltinson of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, John D. Gannon and Frank Gannon; and one sister, Mrs. Katherine Miller, all of Glenbeulah, Wis. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren and ni nine great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Halligan Funeral home and will be returned to the late home today from where the funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with services at St. Paul the Apostle church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
