WOMAN DIES ON WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Mrs. E.R. Downs, 32, Is Called After Five Months' Illness

Mrs. Agnes L. Downs, wife of Elmer R. Downs, 2033 Iowa street, died at Mercy hospital at 7:45 a.m. today. Her death occurred on her wedding anniversary, the couple having been united in marriage 16 years ago today. Mrs. Downs was 32 years old, and had been ailing the past five months.

She was born June 7, 1893, her maiden name being Agnes Flynn. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter, Lucile Irene, and one son, LeRoy, both at home; five sisters, Mrs. William Hunter of Missoula, Mont., Mrs. J.W. McArthey of Los Angeles; Mrs. Margaret Wallace of Chicago; Mrs. Bessie Flynn of Spring Valley, Ill., and Mrs. G.T. Cooney of Chicago, and three brothers, James, William and Edward Flynn. Mrs. Downs was a member of the Moose auxiliary.

The body was removed to the Fred N. Ruhl funeral home and will be taken to the last home Tuesday morning. The funeral will be held from the residence at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday to St. Paul the Apostle church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
