OBITUARY

WILLEY, Mrs. Elizabeth. Died at 5:10 o'clock Sunday morning at her home, 908 West Third street, aged 68 years. Mrs. Willey was born in Allendorf, Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany, Oct. 16, 1836, and came to America in 1848. She was married to Nicholas Willey on Jan. 2, 1854, in St. Anthony's church, this city, the Rev. Pelamourgues performing the marriage ceremony.

Mrs. Willey survived her husband a number of years. She devoted her life to her home and to doing kind, charitable acts. She was a consistent Christian woman, loved and respected by all who enjoyed the privilege of her friendship. She is survived by eight children, Mrs. Henry Schmidt, Gotlieb and Theodore Willey, Mrs. J.B. Dobler and Misses Marjorie E. and Cecelia Willey of Davenport and Henry Willey of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Fred C. Willey of New York City and one sister, Mrs. Nicholas Mau, of Davenport.

The funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Mary's church, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mrs. Willey was the sister of the late Lucas and Fred Ruhl.
