Shortly after noon hour yesterday occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Anna Noth, at the home of her son, John, 742 East Fourteenth street. She was in her seventy-eighth year of age. Mrs. Noth was a native of Rothwell, Baden, Germany, where she was born Nov. 6, 1823. She was married in that country, and in 1858 came to America with her husband, George Noth. They settled at Quincy, and in 1869 came to Davenport. Mr. Noth died about twenty years ago, since when she has made her home with her son, John. The other surviving relatives are Henry, George W., and Mrs. Augusta C. Meyer of Davenport, and Mrs. Amelia Schupp of Quincy, Ill.
The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock with services at St. Joseph church and interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

FUNERAL OF MRS. MARY NOTH
Six Grandsons of the Deceased Were the Pallbearers at the Obsequies.
The remains of the late Mrs. Mary Noth were laid to rest yesterday morning in St. Mary's cemetery. Services were held at 9"30 o'clock at St. Joseph's church. The attendance was large, and floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Six grandsons of the deceased were the pallbearers, their names being as follows: William G. Noth, Albert J. Noth, Edward C. Noth, Frank A. Noth, Harry L. Noth and Oscar F. Noth.
