OBITUARY.

HALLIGAN.

At the family residence, 912 Perry street, at 9:40 o'clock a.m Tuesday occurred the death of Mrs. James F. Halligan after an illness of about ten weeks. The cause of death was an attack of septicemia. The deceased whose maiden name was Margaret A. Carroll, was born at Cold Spring, Long Island, May 20, 1857. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Carroll, came to Davenport in 1858, which has been her home ever since. On Sept. 25, 1893, she was married to James F. Halligan, who with an infant daughter, born July 12 of this year, mourns the loss of his esteemed and devoted wife. Joined in the sorrows over her death are the bereaved parents; two sisters, Miss Catherine Carroll and Mrs. Louis Carstens, and brothers, William, Thomas, Paul, and John.

The funeral will take place Thursday morning with services at St. Anthony's church at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
