OBITUARY.

ACKLEY.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ackley died at Brooklyn at 10 o'clock yesterday forenoon, aged 78 years. Mrs. Ackley came to Scott county with her husband in 1854 and settled on a farm near the city. Four years ago she moved to Davenport and lived with her son W.A. Ackley, until a short time ago when she went to Washington to visit another son. She had been with her son, R.D. Ackley about a week when she died. She leaves four sons: W.A. and J.M. of Davenport; R.D. of Brooklyn, and R.W. of Washington. The remains will be brought to this city for burial. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the residence of J.M. Ackley, corner of Rock Island and Second streets.
