OBITUARY.

KEATOR.

Mrs. Grace Webber Keator, wife of Ben C. Keator, of Moline, died a few minutes before midnight Wednesday night in her 40th year, after a long illness, of pulmonary troubles. The sad event had been feared for some time past, but it ell with no less crushing weight on the family and friends.

Mrs. Keator was the daughter of Mrs. Ellen S. Webber, of Elm street, Rock Island, and the granddaughter of the late John Deere. She was born March 3, 1854, at ROck Island, and was married to the now bereaved husband December 26, 1878--nearly fifteen years ago. She leaves with her husband two children, a boy and a girl--Alice, aged 12, and Bennie, aged 8. Besides her mother. Mrs. E.S. Webber, she is survived also by her brother Charles C. Webber, of Minneapolis; and her sisters Mrs. Wm. G. Mixter, of New Haven, Ct., now here with her husband, and Mrs. Tim A. Murphy of Davenport.

Mrs. Keator was an earnest Christian woman, who will be sadly missed and mourned outside the immediate circle of her family and friends. She was active in church work and in works of charity--in the latter more than is known, except to those who were the objects of her solicitude.

The funeral takes place from the residence, Ninth avenue and Seventeenth street, at 10 o'clock Saturday forenoon. The interment will be a Chippiannock cemetery, Rock Island.
