OBITUARY.

WELLS.

Miss Ruey Elizabeth Wells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Wells, of Davenport, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joseph Albright, of Stewartville, at 3:50 p.m. Monday, after an illness of eleven weeks with consumption of the bowels.

Miss Wells has a large circle of friends, both here and in the city and country, who will be pained to learn of her death. She was born at Hampton, Oct. 7, 1877.

There were short services at the house at 8 o'clock this morning, from where the remains were taken by carriage to Hampton, where the funeral services were held at the M.E. church, the Rev. J.Q. Adams, officiating.
