OBITUARY.

HOFFBAUER.

Capt. Hugo Hoffbauer, a well known resident of Buffalo, this county, last Thursday morning received a dispatch from Moscow, Idaho, announcing the death of his son, in business there, 29 years old, and unmarried. This son had written his father recently, that as business was dull he would take advantage of it to revisit his old home, and the World's fair, but was not feeling very well. Next came the dispatch of his death, but with no particulars of its cause. The remains, as directed, will arrive in Davenport in a day or two. The deceased was an estimable young business man, and making his way up, with many friends at his old and new home.
