Obituary.

Rathmann.

At the home of her daughter 1460 West Sixth street yesterday evening at 8:30 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Abel Rathmann from cancer of the heart of long duration. The deceased was born in Jevenstedt, Holstein, German, in 1836 and came to this country with her husband twenty-two years ago. The couple settled on a farm in Scott county where Mr. Rathmann died thireen years ago. About one year ago the deceased moved into the city. Taking up her residence with her daughter, where she passed away last night. She is survived by eight children.

The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence 1460 West Sixth street with interment at Oakdale.
