Obituary

HANSEN.

Albert Hansen died yesterday afternoon of pneumonia aged 33 years. Mr. Hansen was well known as being probably the best cornetist in the city and a first rate all around musician. He came to Davenport from Chicago and for some time has been a member of Otto's band. He leaves a wife and four children in straightened circumstances leaving only a small insurance in some lodge. Manager Kindt has offered Burtis opera house and local musicians are already talking up a benefit concert which will be given sometime after Lent. The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Hansen's death was unexpected although he has been in poor health all winter.
