Obituary

Another of Davenport's pioneer settlers died early Sunday morning of paralysis. Mrs. Mary Cawiezell widow of Anthony Cawiezell who died here in 1874, was born in Switzerland in 1828 and sailed for America in 1848, coming direct to Davenport where she has since lived. She leaves seven children living and twenty-four grand-children' all of whom are living in Scott county.

The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's church, with interment at St. Mary's cemetery.
