Carl Youngberg, Former Resident, Dies in Arizona

Services are tentatively set for 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Esterdahl Chapel for Carl A. Youngberg, 81, of Mesa , Ariz., a former Moline resident, who died Tuesday at Scottsdale, Ariz., after a brief illness. Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Thursday in the mortuary. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Born in Moline, Mr. Youngerberg never married. He was employed by the former Minneapolis-Moline Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1950, when he moved to Mesa. Survivors include brothers, Arthur G., Coal Valley, Harry R., Moline, Herbert, Mesa; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Nyquist, Scottsdale.
