Obituary

LAGRANGE.

Yesterday Mr. W.J. Birghard received a telegram from Harper, Kan., stating that his sister, Mrs. C.E. Lagrange died there at 1 o'clock in the morning. Mrs. Lagrange had been in ill health for some time and about a month ago, she and her husband started for California for the benefit of her health. They went by way of Harper and were visiting friends there. Mrs. Lagrange was 37 years old and has always lived in Davenport. She leaves besides her husband two little girls 7 and 6 years old. The remains will be brought to Davenport for burial and will probably reach here this evening.
